ABOUT
Ewan Hind CEng MEng MRINA Master (Yachts <3,000 grt)
Ewan Hind is the Director and Primary Consultant of Lewis Marine Consulting.
Ewan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Ship Science from the Univeristy of Southampton, is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Royal Instituion of Naval Architects and holds an MCA Master of Yachts and Sail Training Vessels <3,000grt Certificate of Competency.
Prior to founding Lewis Marine Consulting, Ewan worked as a Senior Project Manager and Owner's Representative for superyacht construction and refit projects, as a consultant Naval Architect and Marine Surveyor, as a Superyacht Captain worldwide, as a Race Yacht Captain during a complete circumnavigation and as the Director of a Sail Training organisation.
He has been involved in the Marine Industry since childhood, has sailed in excess of 100k NM on vessels of all types, and has previously worked as an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and Examiner.
While Ewan has wide experience and knowledge across a variety of Marine disceplines, he also works with a number of selected partners who bring additional expertise and depth of knowledge within their own areas of specialisation.

SERVICES
Project Management
Management of new build and refit yacht construction projects. Drafting and review of specifications, technical documentation, drawings and contracts. Coordination of design, engineering, production and documentation.
Representation
Providing representation of the beneficial owner during yacht construction, refit projects, maintenance periods and general operations. Coordinating an expert team, working with designers, shipyards and industry professionals to realise the Owners ambitions. From initial concept through design, build, handover and into service.
Operations
Consulting on yacht operations including crew recruitment and coordination, training and certification, safety and security, itinerary planning, agency services, maintenance and repairs.
